A Celebration of Love and Connection

Your Wedding Dress Deserves More Than a Box

After the wedding day, many beautiful dresses are carefully placed into a box and rarely seen again.

Perhaps you have a small piece of fabric left over from alterations, or your dress has been stored away for years because it feels too meaningful to part with.

Wedding dress keepsake jewellery gives that precious fabric a new purpose. A small section can be carefully encapsulated within a ring, pendant, bracelet, charm or pair of cufflinks, allowing you to carry a piece of your wedding day with you always.

It is not simply jewellery. It is a lasting reminder of the love, promises and memories woven into every stitch.

A Keepsake for Every Love Story

Wedding dress jewellery can be created before or after your wedding and makes a meaningful keepsake for:

• A bride using fabric removed during dress alterations
• A newlywed wondering what to do with her wedding dress
• A husband or wife celebrating a special anniversary
• A mother of the bride or groom
• A daughter or granddaughter receiving part of a family wedding dress
• A bride remembering someone who could not be there
• A couple renewing their vows
• A family preserving fabric from a dress filled with precious memories

Your keepsake can celebrate your wedding day, honour someone important or preserve a piece of family history for future generations.

Choose Your Wedding Dress Keepsake

Your wedding dress fabric can be carefully preserved within a range of sterling silver jewellery and keepsakes, including rings, pendants, bracelets, charms, earrings, cufflinks and keyrings.

Different fabrics create different finished effects. Lace may show delicate patterns, while satin, silk, tulle, netting and embroidered fabric can each produce a completely unique keepsake.

Because every wedding dress is different, no two pieces of jewellery will ever look exactly the same.

Only a Small Piece of Fabric Is Needed

Only a small amount of fabric is usually needed to create your jewellery.

If your wedding dress is currently being altered, you can ask your seamstress to save a small piece of fabric that would otherwise be discarded. This may include lace, tulle, netting, satin, silk or another part of the dress.

If your wedding has already taken place and your dress is stored away, please contact me before cutting anything. I can help you choose a discreet area and explain how much fabric will be needed for your selected jewellery.

Every piece of fabric is treated with care and respect throughout the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much wedding dress fabric do you need?

Only a small piece of fabric is needed to create your keepsake jewellery. If your dress is being altered, your seamstress can often save a piece that would otherwise be discarded. If your wedding has already taken place, please contact me before cutting anything, and I’ll advise you on the best area to use.

What types of wedding dress fabric can be used?

Most wedding dress fabrics can be used, including lace, satin, silk, tulle, netting, organza and embroidered fabrics. Every dress is unique, so the finished jewellery will always be one of a kind.

Can I send my wedding dress fabric by post?

Yes. I offer a secure UK postal service, so customers from across the UK can have their wedding dress transformed into keepsake jewellery. If you’re local to Thornton Cleveleys or the surrounding Lancashire area, I can also arrange personal collection by appointment.

Can you use fabric from wedding dress alterations?

Yes. In fact, this is one of the most popular options. Many brides choose to save a small piece of fabric removed during alterations, allowing it to be transformed into a meaningful keepsake without affecting the finished dress.

What jewellery can be made from my wedding dress?

Your fabric can be preserved inside a range of handcrafted sterling silver jewellery, including rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, charms, cufflinks and keyrings. If you’re looking for something specific, I’d be happy to discuss the options with you.

How long does it take to make my jewellery?

Each piece is individually handcrafted with care, so turnaround times can vary depending on current orders. I’ll always let you know the estimated timescale before you place your order and keep you updated throughout the process.

Can I have more than one piece made from my wedding dress?

Yes. Many customers choose to have several keepsakes made from the same piece of fabric, allowing a bride, husband, parents or children to each have a special reminder of the wedding day.

Can wedding dress jewellery be given as a gift?

Absolutely. Wedding dress keepsake jewellery makes a thoughtful gift for anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, or simply as a surprise for someone special. It’s also a beautiful way to share part of your wedding day with loved ones.
